This 2009 RZR S was purchased from another quadriplegic (James Jaramillo) who lives in Las Vegas. James purchased this RZR brand new and then had allot of custom work done to it. Oddly enough most of the work was done by James's friend who has a shop called J5 Fabrication & Design.

One of the first things done was to get a hydraulic steering system installed so it was easier to turn the wheels. The steering wheel was also customized and installed in a flat laying position for easier use.

The brake and throttle were relocated so they can be controlled by hand with a bar that runs on the left side of the after market Kirkey Racing seat that was installed to snugly hold the driver in place.

The stock RZR also had a brand new custom racing roll cage built for better structural support and better safety. Then the stock shocks and A arms were replaced with a XMF Long Travel Wide Body Kit complete with Evans Racing Shocks. This install added an extra 16 inches of width to the RZR which adds more control, and gives the suspension 17 inches of travel.

James used the RZR for several years putting 800 miles of riding and racing in his custom built RZR. After several years of driving the RZR James was ready for a new and bigger vehicle.

He put the RZR up for sale online and that is how J2 found it. After talking back and forth for several days James and John came to a deal that was a fair price for the both of them.

Now it is J2's new RZR S, and even with all the custom work already done to it, there is more that needs to be done. AMS (Adaptive Motor Sports) will be working on his RZR to make it even more accessible. They will also be giving the RZR S a complete makeover and upgrade.

Here is a list of some of the new modifications being done...

• Painting the unpainted roll cage.
• Installing a new hood with better air flow function and design .
• All fluid and filter changes for all gear and engine lubrication.
• Adding a new control box with push button start, emergency cut off switch, and several other toggle switches that will control various things in the RZR.
• Installing new gauges.
• Adding digital GPS, Speed, Distance, Compass, Altitude, Temperature, and Maps computer.
• Installing new swing away gas and brake hand lever.
• Installing steering servo for joystick steering capabilities.
• New drivers side arm rests.
• New accessible shift knob.
• New rims and tires.
• New decals and graphics.

J2 and the AMS Team hope to have all the work and testing completed by mid September. Then J2 will be testing the RZR as well as practicing driving the much faster and powerful RZR. The J2 and Super Chairing AATV RZR was displayed and featured at this years Chicago's Abilities Expo on the weekend of June 28th - 30th 2013.

J2 will then be doing even more driving, riding, and practicing before entering his first official off road racing events in spring of 2014.
It may be his first, but it will certainty not be his last.
